I don't think it would be bad. You probably shouldn't of done that but I don't think it will do TOO much harm. The info or advice you gave her might be incorrect and so she might crash and burn. If that does happen just tell her you were only trying to help, you didn't want to hurt her in ANY way ,shape, or form.Is it bad to give advice to best friend about something you've never done before(like kissing?)?
If you've never done it before, it's not that wise to be giving advice, unless there was some way you knew what to do without having done it (I have many times given advice, not having been in that situation, but putting myself in their shoes and telling them what I would do and what they should do).
No, no its not bad, rather inspire others, to undergo something special.
